Hi Everyone,
I have been having sooo much fun! Misty is staying with me this week. Mom bought us a new “double play” tug toy. We can each have an end so there is nothing to fight about? Yes, there is a LOT to fight about? You should hear all of the growling that goes on while we are playing with it. I don’t care if Misty plays with my toys, she gets in my toy box (actually stands in it!) and boy does she get surprised when she stands on one that squeaks!
There is one area we can’t agree on? She likes to eat FAST, and I like to eat SLOW? I still eat out of my purple flying saucer, so I don’t get the whole meal (½ a cup of food) at one time. But she doesn’t get her whole meal at one time either? She has to “sit” while some of her food is poured into her bowl. Then she has to “wait” before eating what’s in the bowl? Until she looks up and someone says “okay”? It sounds like a lot of trouble to go through for a half cup of food? This is the only way she “chews” some of the food instead of inhaling it and not even tasting it? After we are done eating, we always sniff each others mouth to see what kind of food each other had? She has been smelling like chicken – but I smell like salmon!
We found out my small crate in the living room can hold both of us? When it is a “two dog night” (maybe sometime this winter), we can sleep together! I know the pictures look like we are in “jail”, but it was fun? There isn’t any room for pillows either!
This is all well and good, but I can’t share my bully sticks and/or my raw hides? Misty brought some bully sticks and rawhide, but it is hard to tell which one is mine, or which one is hers? After she gets the ends all nice and soft, I take it away from her!! The other night, she just laid there and watched me eat the rest of it? I guess I did get a little “snappy” one time when she tried to get it back, so now she just watches – or waits until I lose interest – and then she grabs it!
Annie has been VERY confused? She is cross-eyed, so when she sets on the steps and looks down – she sees DOUBLE? She couldn’t believe there would be ANOTHER brown thing in her house? Mom took Misty up to the landing where Annie was stretched out the other night and let them
touch noses – Annie didn’t even hiss at Misty? I guess Misty smells better than I do – she hisses at ME?
Love and Kisses,
Ruby
