RUBY’S JOURNAL
05/14/13
Hi Everyone,
IT’S HERE – IT’S HERE! It must be Spring – it hasn’t snowed for two days! For weeks and months, I couldn’t find any green spots to do my “bombs away” and now I can’t find any white spots to do my “bombs away”?
Mom had hand surgery because not all of her fingers were working. That was her excuse why she couldn’t help me, but now they are fixed!
Well, now I know I am going to be a “camper dog”? Mom said we were getting a summer home, (I don’t want to leave my big yard where my friends come to play!) it has a motor (?) and wheels (?). Then I realized it is a “motor home”? Mom said I would meet new friends everyplace we went.
Aunt Deb and Uncle Howard took us to Mason (Michigan) to pick up our summer home. While Mom and Dad were getting instructions on what they needed. Misty and I were in the parking lot of the dealership when a couple recognized us as ruby Cavaliers? They recognized us because they also have a ruby Cavalier? They brought her over to meet us, her name is Molly. Molly seemed to like us right away! Molly’s Mom and Dad asked where we came from and how old we are? Aunt Deb said we came from Petoskey (not too many people know where Brutus is), and Molly came from Ron and Deb Radle’s also!! Not only did Molly come from the same breeder – she came from the same litter as Misty? It was really unbelievable that we were in the same place at the same time, AND we are all sisters! Now I know why Molly liked us right away – I think she knew we are related.
Well Mom was right, I will meet a lot of new friends – maybe more relatives when we go camping?
We might get together sometime with Molly? As you can tell in the picture, we all have the “family” resemblance. Can you tell which one I am? I think I look more like Molly than Misty does? When Mom looked out the office window and saw three Cavalier’s, she couldn’t believe her eyes.
Misty and I are looking forward to out first camping trip this week. Misty also has a motor home, but hers came furnished, right down to the designer “poop” bags. All I got was an empty grocery bag holder! We will try to survive “roughing it” with the flat screen TV, entertainment center with surround sound and an outdoor shower in case we get into trouble? I’m not sure where my bed will be. I heard Mom say I could have my bed in the shower? I found a nice spot beside the bed that I would like, but I never sleep in the bedroom at home? If I don’t like my bed, Misty invited me to come over for a “sleep over”. We do that sometimes!
My new handle is “Road Trip” and Misty’s is “On The Road Again” so maybe we’ll see you on the ROAD?
Love and Kisses,
Ruby
