Hi Everyone,
THEY’RE BAAAACK!
Mom and Dad were on vacation. They took the S.S. Badger to Wisconsin to visit Joanne and John. While they were there they went to a vineyard and did some wine tasting? Before they left Wisconsin, they went to the Oshkosh Air Show. They said there were fields full of airplanes – they even brought one back for Misty and Me. (OK, just a toy, but I didn’t have an airplane to play with!)
After they left Wisconsin, they went to visit Cousin Lindsey at the Whitefish Point Lighthouse. Lindsey is working and living there this Summer – it’s only eleven miles from Paradise! Dad got a new camera before they went, and got a lot of great pictures. Wait until you see how good pictures of ME come out, HD Movie, 16.1 megapixels and 42x zoom! (He could count the hairs in my nose – if I had any!)
Well, because I didn’t get to go with them on the “vacation”, I had lots of fun on my “stay-cation” at Aunt Deb and Uncle Howard’s. Misty and I went to “Camp Cav” (it’s a camp for Cavaliers only)? I had a great time in the swimming pool chasing the empty bottles – but Misty wouldn’t jump in the water? I hope she will in the future.
We went for long walks, sometimes had long naps and had great snacks! I came home with a new mattress in my crate, thanks to Aunt Deb. (Mom and Dad never got me one – they just threw a blanket on the plastic tray?)
We had a “Craft Day” and made a stepping stone with our name on it – and the stones glow in the dark!
I REALLY had a good time – but I was glad to get home. I think Annie missed me? Well, she talked and talked and talked when I got home? She told me she didn’t like being “home alone” – but it was real quiet without ME?
Misty must have been “sick” of me! After I left , she got sick? She was so sick she had to see the Doctor. She couldn’t swallow anything – so she cried a lot? I warned her about eating everything in sight, but you know, she is still a “puppy”. I remember when I was a puppy, I ate a caterpillar and threw up! She doesn’t chew things thoroughly – I don’t know how to teach her to chew first – then swallow? Well, I guess whatever the Doctor gave her helped her “pass” the big chunk of wood she didn’t chew! Being her “big” sister, she should watch me, I eat a lot of bark and twigs – but I chew it REAL good!
Love and Kisses,
Ruby
