HAPPY NEW YEAR
Hi Everyone,
Did you miss me? I have been such a “party animal “ since Thanksgiving, I didn’t have time to tell you about it. I had real turkey for Thanksgiving, not just liver treats. (I still like liver, but now that I’m “grown up” I have people food too!) I helped Misty celebrate her birthday – with cake of course! Then I went to Aunt Deb and Uncle Howard’s for another “staycation” while Mom and Dad went to Denver to visit Keith, Betsy and Dylan.
It was time to get ready for Christmas. I helped Mom and Dad put outside and inside decorations up, but a few days later they started taking them down? Then several men came and started pounding on the roof. I didn’t know we needed a new roof before Santa came? After the new roof was finished, the Christmas decorations went back up! But when the wind and ice and snow came some of them fell over!
Dad has been trying to take me out for walks when it’s not too cold or snowing too hard, but he puts some funny clothes on and I just wear a coat, well maybe boots and earmuffs? I can’t stand to have my ears covered! Mom took pictures of me when I had the boots on and the earmuffs, but I can’t send all of them to you. (She takes a lot of pictures of ME, but can’t delete any because I’m SOOO cute!)
Aunt Deb bought Cavalier Christmas ornaments and Mom painted them to look like Misty and Me!
Dad got an i Pad for Mom for Christmas? Well, he said it was for her, but she never gets a chance to use it (he takes it to bed with him), but after he goes to sleep she plays with it! Maybe he should have his own? Mom said she didn’t really need an i Pad – a Kindle Fire would do. Now she has her Kindle and he has the i Pad! I can’t figure out the i Pad, it’s called FaceTime, so when someone talks to me I only see their face? I looked behind the i Pad, but there is no body to go with the face?
I stayed with Misty on New Year’s Eve, we didn’t have a special “toast”, but we got treats – we each got a peanut butter sucker for Christmas. (She shared some of hers, but I have been eating the “whole thing”!) The treats will probably stop? I got weighed on my last visit to the Vet’s, and I have gained a pound! 1-2-13
Love and Kisses,
Ruby
